Again I had a wonderful meal and very friendly service. This restaurant is the best in Elk City Ok I do craft shows in April and September and I eat here every year and I tell the vendors about Portobello's and how wonderful this restaurant is. The raspberry pork loin is always perfect and highly recommended.

We stopped in last night after being referred by a very nice local. Weren't disappointed, fact us we were very pleased. The pork tenderloin I ordered was very good along with the sweet potato. The cream of celery soup was outstanding! My hubby was thrilled with his shrimp salad as well. The wait staff went out of their way to make us comfy and never once mentioned that it was time to close. Recommend this establishment highly!!

I don't think the menu is unfairly priced. I've eaten here a handful of times and haven't had a poor experience yet. The filet was cooked very well. Tender, moist and flavorful-what's not to like? Prime rib special was flavorful as well. perfect med rare. The ambience is nice, I usually eat at the bar top. The bartender is helpful in navigating the menu. All being weighed is a pleasant experience and would highly recommend stopping by if you're near.

The sign posted on the door said, "A $3 charge will be added to credit card charges under $10." That should've been my first clue. My husband had the pork tenderloin with raspberry sauce that came with two sides. He chose mashed potatoes and a salad. He ordered a glass of wine with dinner. I had the tilapia, carrots with parsley, a salad and a gin 'n tonic. The pork was fork tender and tasty, my tilapia was crunchy, the carrots were ok, nothing special. The bill was $42.00. My gripe is this: A fly took a dive in my husband's wine after a couple sips and when we called it to the attention of our waitress, she apologised, took the glass away and handed us the bill. No adjustment was made to the bill for the undrinkable wine. No new glass was offered, she said the owner wouldn't make any adjustment. Really?? Fine. I will never go back there, I will tell all my friends about the parsimonious owner and I DO NOT recommend the place. There are other places in Elk City that serve good food, for less money and better customer service.

We were extremely disappointed with this experience. First off, the only Cabernet by the glass they sold was Woodbridge. We passed on that and settled for water. The lobster bisque was a cup of cream that tasted as if it had been saesoned with Old Bay, There was not a sliver of lobster, shallots or anything else in this cup. After two bites I moved on. I asked for balsamic vinagrette for my salad and was given a small decanter of vegetable oil and one of balsamic. Again, after two bites I moved on. My husband's pork chop had been covered in an abundance of what tasted like Montreal Steak Seasoning. If you like that seasoning, you'd probably like the chop. He cut off all the edges and only ate the middle. My salmon was blah and the "fresh" green beans had some kind of strange seasoning on them, too. The meal lacked freshness. Everything tasted as if it were seasoned out of those little jars. We don't mind paying prices for delicious innovative food. This tasted more like one of thise low end chain steak joints. We won't go back.

I'm here now and Yeah the menu is a bit pricey, but the prime rib is delicious, as is the cream of mushroom soup and grilled portobellos! $23 bux... Not bad. Really good service at the bar! I recommend it

Menu was limited. No Sweet Ice Tea! What! Your In Oklahoma and you don't serve Sweet Tea! Had the Mushroom & Swiss cheese Burger with chips. They don't have regular fries? The chips seem to be some Lays they had laying around cause they were stale as heck. Burger with chips was $10! Oh my god. plus the Ice Tea, total was around $13. This at most was like a $4 Combo with drink. I should have gone to BK or Mickey D's Never Again!! Sorry if I seem harsh but this place will probably go under with the high prices and low quality food. Just Sayin'

Very pleasantly surprised! We stopped at Elk City for the night and the Hampton Inn suggested PorTobello Grill. It is the only restaurant (aside from Huddle House) on this exit and so we decided to give it a try. Thank heavens they served wine. After 9 hours in the car today, it was much needed. The restaurant was surprisingly busy and we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. That was the only draw back though. Everyone was so sweet and the food was wonderful. The steak was delicious! Would definitely come back! We also got 10% off since we showed our Hampton room key.

Stopped in April 16th, 2014. Very impressed with the facility, the servers, and especially the food. The pork chop was juice and you could cut it with a fork. The steak salad was fantastic (sirloin was excellent).

Stayed in Elk City during the start of our storm chasing weekend and this restaurant was highly recommended through Yelp and then by our hotel. The Hubby and I both ordered burgers and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. Tasted like we made them from scratch at home and grilled them ourselves. Juicy, tasty, and large. The tomato basil soup tasted divine and was made from scratch there at the restaurant. So worth the money. Highly recommend!!

This is a pretty solid for Elk City dining. The signature portobello burger is great for veggies. The burgers are also decent, though I must confess I prefer the chicken and Swiss. I'm told the tilapia is good, but I was never one for cooked fish, so don't hold me to that. I've typically done take out, but have had dinner here a few times. Dinner can be busy and the servers like to take their time, though I suppose that is the case in Oklahoma in general and not specific to this establishment. Two noteworthy warnings to heed: on more than one occasion I've received condiments with my take out that were probably older than I am. I'm talking black ketchup. The second warning is these guys love salt. This is fairly salty food. You've been warned. Ps. Third warning, this time regarding the chips and salsa. Each time I've had these they've upset my stomach. I don't think it's the salsa, I think it's some seasoning on the chips. No me gusto.
